So there’s this small little storm heading right towards us. OK so maybe not too small, but we’ve decided to hunker down and wait it out and it seems like most of our friends and neighbors have decided to do the same. The main roads were fairly busy but NOTHING like when hurricane Rita came. Staying put this time around brings it’s own level of stress with everyone predicting this storm to land as a Cat 3. But we’ve cleaned up the yard, stockpiled food and supplies, and the only thing I’m concerned about is a loss of power.
Close to home, here in Sugar Land, traffic was also fairly heavy with people going to/from Home Depot for plywood and supplies, grocery stores for food, and Academy for camping supplies. I was out and about tonight checking out everything and went into the local Kroger grocery store and it was pretty cleaned out.
Here are a few pics of the storm and the Kroger:

I can’t believe they had so many packages of rolls left! Super Target had no bread or rolls or bagels, but they had tons of tortillas. Why wouldn’t people think to raid the tortilla aisle?
You guys stay safe!!
Been praying for you all! So glad to here that you all are OK! See ya on your Ma’s Birthday! Love ya, Debra
